Why “The Lion’s Den”
The Lion’s Den (aka my oversized garage) became the unexpected place where God's mercy, POWER, and presence came in and radically transformed my life at a time when I was in a state of anger and frustration towards the Lord. It became the place where I learned to shout, go on the offense in PRAYER and even groan in the spirit. The Lion's Den is a place to be awakened, find your prayer life, ENCOUNTER Jesus, and be transformed by His Word! We truly live boldly set apart and unapologetically in love and PURITY.
We aren’t chasing platforms or followers. We’re calling a lukewarm church back to the HOLY fire of GOD!

* Before we get into a little bit of the personal side of our story let me begin by being completely transparent. This was NEVER meant to be an apparel brand! I started making these in '22 because I wanted to make some shirts that expressed the message I wanted to send. One of BOLDNESS and TRUTH! I bought a domain back in spring of '24 after a dear brother said "no one makes shirts like yours and you should sell them." I then sat on it even after more people were asking where they could buy these shirts. I just didn't want to commercialize something I felt was personal to me and what I felt the Lord lead me to do. Seems like everyone today is so quick to get a podcast, YouTube channel or clothing line and that's just not a desire I have! After several seemingly confirmations, I have reluctantly said "YES". I want my "yes" to be like Jesus' "yes", and ultimately being in OBEDIENCE to and ABIDING in King Jesus is what I want to be great at! If any part of our story impacts you, let us know. My (Paul’s) Encounter with Jesus (shortened)
At 19 I had a RADICAL encounter with Jesus. I was taken in the Spirit face to face with the Lamb and due to the magnitude of the encounter I had to be carried by two men because I simply couldn't function! Then on October 27, 2021, everything changed......again. The power and PRESENCE of God came into my garage and truly changed me! That moment is when I genuinely became BORN AGAIN and now I don't live, act, or think like I used to. Truly a Saul to Paul story, and that's how the Lion's Den was birthed!
My life used to revolve around motorcycles. I raced, worked in dealerships, and even won the ASRA Amateur National Championship! Then a crash ended the pro dream, and for years the ache. ran. DEEP.
Today JESUS, not racing, is my lifeblood. I actually have a REAL prayer life! Praying and reading the Word frequently, sometimes even up to 6-8hrs has been amazing! I've actually had a few Heb 5:7 & Rom 8:26 moments too. I have never heard anyone pray like this in all the years I've been in church. Loud, passionate and OFFENSIVE! This is the way of the Lion's Den. As this continued and through the leading of the HOLY GHOST I came to realize that most of the church doesn't pray to shift atmospheres, see canopy's of darkness destroyed, see veils torn, have their families hearts softened, reclaim regions and to simply go on the offense! He SHIFTED my desires from the inside out. Praying boldly, and praying to be transformed and purified from the inside out is what I want for many others. Even my wife would tell you the transformation is REAL!

What We’ve Learned About God (shortened)
For a long time I would say “God is good” only when life was GOOD, and when it was BAD then He wasn't "good". Then in September 2022 I told my pastor through tears “No matter what happens, God is good.” That conviction is now my foundation. God’s goodness isn’t a mood or a moment, it’s His NATURE! When this becomes your reality, everything changes: If I have Jesus, I have everything!
Back on that momentous day in Oct of '21, a revelation through the POWER and presence of God also came. I learned that it's not "once saved always saved," and that this teaching is from the ENEMY himself. After that I was weeping for hours, repenting for weeks, and thanking God I hadn't died in the last 22 years! I now realize that He truly is a HOLY and merciful God!
For the most part the American church has allowed and preached a watered down gospel, in turn creating a vast, lukewarm body of believers, and I used to be one of them! Now I'm going to be a voice calling from the wilderness for others to come back to a LIFE of purity and holiness unto Jesus! Let's be radically set apart and show the world the heart of the FATHER as we abide in Him, and His heart becomes our heart as we pray and chop it up in the den!

We serve a HOLY, jealous, loving God. He wants all of us, not a life diluted by compromise. When stress hits, we must run to the feet of Jesus in prayer.
That’s where our help comes from.

Who we are
My wife grew up in Manasquan, New Jersey. She’s gifted in many things including interior design, and has an incredible eye. The diagnosis rocked her (as it would any mother). Grief and a burning painful sensation sat in her body; getting off the couch felt IMPOSSIBLE for a long season. She wrestled with God.
But she kept showing up. And God is breaking in. I believe she is a mighty woman of God, her story will set other women FREE!
My wife Kristin and I have been together 23 years and we have an AMAZING child Talin! To keep it short we’ve been through bankruptcy, foreclosure, repossession, virtually homeless twice and have dealt the whole time with not being able to conceive a child ourselves. We’ve been on food stamps a few times and have had that humbling experience of the food bank. I tell people we’ve had more than most but less than some for sure! All my wife ever wanted to be was a mom and that REALITY has never came even to this day as far as natural birth goes. It’s still a struggle for her as she has been to many baby showers over the years. Unbeknownst to us we we’re assigned to adopt. It was not in the plan and the way it came about wasn't conventional either. Simply, it was a TRUE work of the Lord.
Our Son’s Story (shortened)
After many years of not being able to have our own biological child we were able to adopt our amazing son in 2012. This came in an UNCONVENTIONAL way that only the hand of God could've orchestrated. Then in December 2017, five and a half years after our beautiful boy was born, we received the call no parent wants. Our son was diagnosed with an incurable, life-threatening disease.
He went from running, biking, and riding dirt bikes to using a wheelchair. Today we carry him, help with most of his daily needs, and are quite literally, his legs.
Yet he still radiates JOY and many strangers can't help to mention his contagious smile! He remembers what it feels like to run and play, and he still chooses GLADNESS. He loves church at Fresh Start AZ, and was baptized there Aug 2025 (pic on the right). He also loves Friday night Barnabas Bros, where we gather simply to welcome the HOLY SPIRIT. We’ve witnessed healing, deliverance, and the quiet, holy presence of Jesus. Our son loves it there.
